ALL ARE WELCOME
I believe that one of the most important roles as a therapist is to work towards creating a safe place for everyone. In my personal life I strive to be LGBTQIA+ affirming, anti-racist, body positive, sex positive, and culturally competent. While I desire to understand the unique experiences of everyone, I work hard to ensure not to burden clients with the emotional labor of educating me along one's journey.
A priority of mine as a therapist is to help foster self acceptance and self compassion. It is through this process that we come to learn how to be kind to ourselves, especially when we need it the most!
LETS GET TO WORK
While I truly believe in the benefits of having a safe and accepting place to process, I also know the clients I work with desire change. Throughout therapy I offer client's skill based recommendations and homework assignments to help them learn how to most effectively identify their emotions, change how they feel, and work towards creating the life that they so deeply desire!
